SELECTED WORK FOR
THE TANK MUSEUM
Curated examples from the Change Checker and The Westminster Collection YouTube channels, highlighting my experience with storytelling for social platforms, specialist subjects and creating engaging digital video.
EXAMPLE 1:
BRAND: The Westminster Collection
ROLE: Editor
BRIEF: I was given both the green screen presenter footage and the audio, and was briefed to create a meaningful video to support the promotion of The Battle of Britain Coin Set.
This example is particularly relevant because it show my experience editing a wartime subject into a clear, accessible, engaging video. Through carefully chosen archive footage, imagery, pacing and structure, I helped create a respectful and immersive piece that has a clear crossover with The Tank Museum’s own subject-led storytelling.
EXAMPLE 2:
BRAND: Change Checker
ROLE: Producer, Camera and Sound Operator, Editor
BRIEF: To create an exciting and accessible launch video to mark the release of the George Orwell £2 coin, building audience interest by connecting the new release to its wider cultural significance.
I selected this example because it shows that I can turn the launch of a new coin into high performing YouTube content. The creative challenge behind this video relates closely to The Tank Museum’s output: finding the story behind a new release, giving it wider context and making it engaging for enthusiasts and casual viewers alike. The video reached over 912,000 views, making it one of Change Checker’s strongest performing uploads.
EXAMPLE 3:
BRAND: Change Checker
ROLE: Producer, Camera and Sound Operator, Editor
BRIEF: To create a clear and engaging reveal video for the UK Zog 50p, introducing the coin to Change Checker’s audience and building interest around the release.
I chose this example because it shows my filming experience outside of a studio environment. It demonstrates my ability to capture footage and audio on location, adapt to a less controlled production setting and still shape the edit into a clear, polished video for a YouTube audience.
EXAMPLE 4:
BRAND: Change Checker
ROLE: Producer, Scriptwriter, Camera and Sound Operator, Voiceover Artist and Editor
BRIEF: To create a new episode of the ‘Fact File’ series, focusing on an individual coin that can be found in circulation. The aim was to make the subject clear and searchable, supporting SEO discovery and creating evergreen content for the channel.
For The Tank Museum, this felt like the most relevant Fact File example because it combines audience focused content with a wider historical subject. It demonstrates how I approach evergreen YouTube content: clear structure, accessible explanation and a strong reason for viewers to keep watching.
EXAMPLE 5:
BRAND: The Westminster Collection
ROLE: Editor
BRIEF: To create an engaging video for The Figureheads of the Revolutionary War 1oz Silver Coin, using limited source material to tell the wider story behind the release.
This example shows my ability to build a clear and engaging story from limited source material. I sourced copyright-free imagery, staged product shots and shaped the edit around an AI voiceover, using pacing and structure to make the subject feel cohesive and easy to follow. It demonstrates my ability to use structure, pacing and carefully chosen imagery to bring detailed historical content to life.
WHY DID I CHOOSE THESE VIDEOS?
Together they show the range of what I can bring to The Tank Museum: the ability to handle detailed topics, create engaging YouTube content, use performance insight to develop stronger formats and produce polished videos even when the source material is limited. They reflect a practical, audience first approach to video production that I would be excited to bring to your media team.
